Rainbow Fish | Paper Plate

Today, we’re going to turn a simple paper plate into a rainbow fish. This activity is super easy and loads of fun. So let’s get started right away!

What you will need

Paper plate

Blue acrylic paint

Paint brush

Blue card stock

Colourful papers

Googly eye

Round punch

Glue

Scissors

How to make

Step 1

Paint the paper plate blue. Let it dry completely.

Step 2

Cut a small triangle from the plate for the mouth.

Step 3

Glue the triangle to the back of the plate for the tail.

Step 4

Glue a googly eye above the mouth.

Step 5

Punch holes in the colourful papers for the scales.

Step 6

Glue the punched circles on the plate.

Step 7

Cut fins out of the blue card stock.

Step 8

Glue the fins on the top and the bottom of the plate.

And we’re done!
